Past Accomplishments

CodeMonkey

Codemonkey launched their first Challenge Builder Competition where students got the chance to showcase not only their coding skills but also their creativity.  Challenge Builder allows kids to build and create their own CodeMonkey challenges using CoffeeScript, a real programming language. Through creating challenges, children practice logical reasoning, algorithms, creativity and computer programming.  We are proud to announce that two of our OLPH students not only made it to the final round but placed in this competition!  Emily Cube was selected as the 3rd Place finalist and Samantha Kimble earned 2nd Place!  Congratulations girls for your hard work and for representing our school! Thank you Mrs. Castaneda for encouraging our students and finding ways to showcase their talents.
